Isaac Okoro Ruled Out For Wednesday's Game

  • Thu, October 28, 2021

Cleveland Cavaliers small forward Isaac Okoro (hamstring) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. He is dealing with a left hamstring strain and it sounds as if he will miss multiple games. Okoro has been seeing big minutes off the bench so far this year, but he hasn't been delivering many enticing statistics. Over his first four games, he played 27 minutes per contest and averaged 7.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.8 blocks per game. Okoro is a strong on-ball defender, but he doesn't really have many skill sets that lend well to fantasy at this point in his career. While he's out, Cedi Osman, Dylan Windler and Denzel Valentine are candidates for increased minutes.

Malcolm Brogdon Leaves Game With Hamstring Injury

  • Thu, October 28, 2021

Indiana Pacers point guard Malcolm Brogdon (hamstring) has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday's game against the Toronto Raptors after suffering a left hamstring injury. Brogdon started the game and was playing extremely well before exiting. Over 22 minutes, he shot 7-for-13 from the floor and compiled 18 points, five assists, four rebounds and a steal. The team will likely lean more heavily on T.J. McConnell for the remainder of Wednesday's contest.

Joel Embiid, Shake Milton Questionable For Thursday

  • Thu, October 28, 2021

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) and point guard Shake Milton (ankle) are both questionable for Thursday's game against the Detroit Pistons. Milton is dealing with a right ankle sprain and he has yet to make his season debut. Embiid, meanwhile, has been wearing a questionable tag regularly over the past week. He's dealing with right knee soreness. He has been playing through the injury, but he certainly hasn't been 100% and his numbers have shown it. Over four games, he's averaging 19.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game while shooting 44.4% from the field. The blocks have been great, but all those other numbers are down a good amount from last year (28.5 PPG, 10.6 RPG, 51.3% FG%).

Daniel Gafford Ruled Out With Right Quad Contusion

  • Thu, October 28, 2021

Washington Wizards center Daniel Gafford (quad) has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday's game against the Boston Celtics. Gafford suffered an injury in the first half of the game when he collided with Celtics shooting guard Jaylen Brown. He was taken to the locker room after the play. After halftime, the team announced that he would be held out for the remainder of the game due to a right quad contusion. Montrezl Harrell will likely see a heavy workload in the second half of Wednesday's game with Gafford out. We should know more about the severity of Gafford's injury and if he's expected to miss time soon.

Cade Cunningham Could Make His Debut On Saturday

  • Thu, October 28, 2021

Detroit Pistons point guard Cade Cunningham (ankle) suffered an ankle injury during training camp. He went on sit out the entire preseason and he has yet to play during the regular season. However, it sounds as if his debut isn't too far away. In a recent press conference, Pistons general manager Troy Weaver suggested that this Saturday's game against the Orlando Magic could be Cunningham's first game. Weaver said, "Hopefully, we'll get him back sooner than later, but I would anticipate hopefully seeing him when we get back off the road." The Pistons are on a three-game road trip right now. The final game of that trip is on Thursday against the Philadelphia 76ers. The first overall pick will likely be eased into the rotation once he's active.
