Well, the pistons finally fell back down to earth and shot a very piston-like 34% from the field last night. The pace was also slowed down from where the two teams were ranked before the game. Now we turn our attention to two teams that have been running up the scores in their games and look to be headed to the playoffs in the eastern conference.

This team has established themselves as a force to be reckoned with. Now the number one seed in the East, there doesn’t seem to be any team too big for this Bulls team. Chicago rounds out the top 10 in scoring offense with 110 points per game. They had no issues topping that when they played this Wizards team a few days ago, and we were able to put up 120. The Bulls’ defense is middle of the road, allowing opponents to score around 107 points per game. Chicago is tied for 10th in the NBA in pace. The Bulls should continue their dominant scoring here. The team is as healthy as they have been in weeks and is playing one of the poorer defenses in the league in Washington.

The Wizards appear to be a new team now that a few of their players have returned from protocol. Their offense has put up 110+ in six of their last seven games. One of those games was against this Bulls team, where they almost won the game and were able to put up 119. As good as their offense has been, the Wizards’ defense has been just the opposite. Their defense has allowed teams to score 114+ in six of their last seven games. This Bulls team will be able to score just like they did a few days ago if the Wizards cannot plug some holes in their defense.

Wizards vs Bulls the Pick: Over 225
Both of these teams will just be trying to outscore each other. The Wizards have been having a lot of issues defensively and will likely continue to have issues with this Bulls offense. Look for Chicago to push the pace and for both teams to put up a lot of points here. Take the over at 225.
