REDS VS ROCKIES APRIL 29
Yesterday, we took one on the chin as the Astros forgot how to play baseball and didn’t get one run across till the seventh inning. Today we’re going to be looking for a lot of runs and there’s no other place to look other than Coors Field. There are four teams in MLB that have a positive run record and one that has a .500 record. Two of those teams are in today’s game.
There shouldn’t be any better medicine for this Rockies team other than coming back home to face a terrible Reds team after getting swept four games by the Phillies. Runs were tough to come by over the last four games, but that should change here as the Rockies will face Hunter Greene in his fourth big league start. The rookie has given up at least three runs in each of his first three starts and has never pitched at a place like Coors Field. Colorado is currently ranked 12th against right-handed pitchers, with a team batting average of .238.
Man, has it been a tough start for the Reds? They are 1-13 in their last 14 games. Their pitching has just been awful. In just the last series, they allowed 24 runs to the Padres in three games. The offense has struggled at times, making things twice as bad, but lately they have been able to keep them within arm’s reach of the game as they were able to put up five runs in each of the games in the series against the Padres. The Reds are one of four teams in baseball that have a positive overs record. Today they get Senzatela, who they have been pretty good against, hitting .290 in 69 at bats.
Reds vs Rockies Pick: Over 10 Runs
The pitching won’t be great for this game, both teams can hit, and it’s at the only place that can save overs in baseball in 2022, Coors Field.
Same Game Parlay:
Over 10.5 Runs, Tommy Pham to record 2+ hits, Charlie Blackmon to record an RBI and Tommy Pham to record a run.
