The win last night was pretty easy and straightforward, as the Dodgers did what they normally do and won rather easily. Today we’re on the move to Texas, where the Rangers are going to be hosting the Orioles. Finally, the Orioles have gotten some respect put on their name and a lot of these lines are more competitive regardless of who they are playing. Can Baltimore stay out of last place in the East, and can Texas stay afloat in their division? Let’s break down the game and find out.

A surprising surge so far for the Orioles, and hopefully it continues. I’m just imagining whose head will roll if the Orioles finish with a better record with their payroll over a team like the Red Sox and their payroll. With Baltimore right in the thick of the division, and with Toronto and the Rays playing, they could reach third place with a few wins themselves. To start off, they are sending Bradish to the hill for today’s game. Bradish started out pretty well and had some good stuff, but then it all went downhill. The walk numbers grew and the strikeout numbers went down. More shocking is that he has had only one start this season where he did not allow a home run. He did make his return against the Reds, pitching well, going five innings, allowing two runs, and, of course, he still allowed a home run.

The Rangers were in the same boat as the Orioles, so to speak. There was a lot more invested in the Rangers as they went out and spent a lot of money on a few guys, but it was going to still take a few years to pan out. They seemed a little ahead of schedule before recently coming back down to earth. Perez took the hill today and has been the bright spot of the rotation. Selected to the All-Star team and the team’s ace. The Rangers are 15-5 in his starts, and Perez himself has a 9-2 record. He has some tall shoes to fill as Baltimore has owned the Rangers this season as they are 5-0 against Texas.

Rangers vs Orioles Pick: Rangers ML
The Orioles might be 5-0 against the Rangers, but they have not faced Perez. The pitching is the next area for the Rangers that needs upgrading, so with Perez on the hill, I feel confident in a Rangers win today.

Same Game Parlay:
Rangers ML, Corey Seager to record 2+ hits, Martin Perez Over 5.5 Strikeouts, Adolis Garcia to record 2+ RBI’s and Corey Seager to hit a home run.
