It was a frustrating game last night as the Suns went up big several times and then proceeded to let the lead continually slip away and only ended up winning by three. The Magic destroyed them in the paint, scoring over and over again. It was obvious the Suns had no answer, and on the other hand, they struggled mightily to score inside the paint on Orlando. They definitely miss the leadership of Paul and Booker on the floor. Tonight we go out west, where the Kings will be hosting the Nuggets. Can the Kings get anything going and can the Nuggets stay hot? Let’s break this one down and find out..

The Kings faced the Nuggets in back-to-back games a few weeks back, losing both the first by 18 and the second by five. Recently, the Kings have lost three of their last four. They jumped out to an early lead in the first half of their last game and then let the Knicks steamroll them in the second half. The Kings’ defense has been the highlight of their struggles. In two of their last four games they have allowed 125 points or more. In the other two games, they allowed teams to score 112 and 114. All-out efforts from Saboins and Fox have kept the Kings in some games because of their ability to score, but they are up for a tall task here against one of the best offenses lately in the Nuggets. The Nuggets were able to score 115+ in both games a few weeks back, and you can expect a similar outcome here.

The Nuggets are on the opposite track as the Kings, having won three of their last four games and scoring 130 points or more in each of their last two games. It’s a scary thought when this Nuggets team can put up 130 against a top five defense and now they get to face the 29th ranked defense. Going back further, the Nuggets have won nine of their last 10. Denver ranks 10th overall in offense, but on a three-game running average, they have the second best offense in the league. Defensively, they rank 12th and do face a challenge in stopping the Kings’ offense, which does have good talent and can keep the pressure on. The Nuggets are rounding into playoff form at the right time and will look to add Murray back to the lineup before the playoffs start.

Nuggets vs Kings Pick: Nuggets -4.
This Nuggets offense is about to do horrible things to this poor Kings defense. Even though this Kings offense can score, I don’t see them being able to keep up with the Nuggets. Take them at -4.

Same Game Parlay:
Nuggets -4.5, De’Aaron Fox First Basket, Nuggets to win by 1-10 Pts, De’Aaron Fox to score 25+ Pts and Nikola Jokic to score 25+ Pts.
