Welcome to Week 14 of the fantasy football season! With the playoffs right around the corner, some teams are comfortably waiting for the postseason to begin. Other teams stink and are checked out. For a lot of us though, we’re fighting for our playoff lives. These last few weeks will be huge, and we need to start the correct players. For today’s fantasy advice, I will go through every game and tell you what I love and what I hate. Simple enough.

Draft Kings NBA Promotion

Baltimore at Cleveland
To be honest, I don’t love any player in this matchup. Just two weeks ago, these teams battled out a stinker of a game on Sunday Night Football. That said, if I had to pick, Austin Hooper might not only be a good pickup but a good start. The Ravens’ pass defense is terrible, and Baker Mayfield likes his tight ends. Hooper is available in most leagues. As far as the hate for this game, the list is long. Lamar Jackson has been terrible lately and the Browns defend the pass solidly. Both Browns’ running backs will have their hands full against the league’s best run defense. If you don’t have to start anyone in this game, don’t.

Jacksonville at Tennessee
Is Derrick Henry back yet? No? Okay. I hate everyone in this game. Next, in all seriousness, if you had to start anyone from this matchup, the Titans’ defense is the only move I see.

Las Vegas at Kansas City
As far as this matchup, I love the usual Kansas City studs in Mahomes, Hill, and Kelce. Those are the obvious starts. As we know, the last time these teams played, the Chiefs demolished the Raiders. I expect more of that this week. As far as the hate side, I am not a huge fan of starting Josh Jacobs. The Chiefs’ defense has been stout for about six weeks now and I expect KC to lead for the majority of this game. Because of that, Jacobs may not get a ton of touches.

New Orleans at New York Jets
I love Alvin Kamara and the Saints’ defense. That is it. Do not get cute with starting Taysom Hill. He and his wacky throwing finger are not worth a start. As far as starting any Jet, nope. No thank you. No. No. No.

Dallas at Washington
I love anyone involved with the Cowboys’ passing game in this matchup. Dak, Lamb, Cooper, and even Gallup are all worth a start. Washington’s pass defense is atrocious. For Washington, both Gibson and McLaurin are also worth a start as those two players ARE Washington’s whole offense. All of the unnamed players in this matchup belong in the hate basket. That includes Ezekiel Elliott. Zeke has just one 20-point game over his last seven. Even if Tony Pollard doesn’t play, I still don’t love starting Zeke. If Pollard does play, Zeke is an easy non-start.

Atlanta at Carolina
I love Cordarrelle Patterson based on his body of work alone. He is a must-start every week. That is the only love I have for this matchup. For the hates, well, I don’t hate anyone in this matchup either. I mostly meh on everyone. Your guess is as good as mine for guys like DJ Moore, Kyle Pitts, Chuba Hubbard, and Russell Gage. I will say though. Do NOT start Cam Newton.

Seattle at Houston
I love Tyler Lockett. That is about it. Russell Wilson has not been good since returning from injury and DK Metcalf has been inconsistent all season. If you were to start anyone from this game, those are the only three options. The rest are easy to hate. I’m not sure if any Texan has started in a fantasy game all season.

Detroit at Denver
This is another “no thanks” game. With Swift most likely out, Detroit has no other good fantasy options other than Hockenson. On Denver’s side, Javonte Williams might be worth a start if you’re desperate. But ONLY if you’re desperate. All of the rest are an easy no.

New York Giants at Los Angeles Chargers
With both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams out, I love Jared Cook for this matchup. Justin Herbert is always a must-start as is Austin Ekeler if healthy. As far as the Giants’ players go, nobody is worth a start. Not even Barkley.

San Francisco at Cincinnati
With Cincinnati having a suspect pass defense, I love George Kittle and Deebo Samuel for this matchup (although Deebo mostly runs the ball now which is fine too). If you’re feeling frisky, Brandon Aiyuk might be worth a start as his targets have been hovering in the six to eight range over the past six weeks. On Cincy’s side, I love Mixon, Chase, Higgins, and Burrow, assuming all are healthy. There are no real hates for this game.

Buffalo at Tampa Bay
This game will be fireworks. Start all relevant players. I love them all. You know, as long as there isn’t a tornado or something like Buffalo had to deal with last week.

Chicago at Green Bay
Start the relevant Green Bay players such as Rodgers, Jones, or Adams. Green Bay’s defense should be a top defense as well. Remember, Rodgers owns the Bears. Do not start any Bear.

Los Angeles Rams at Arizona
Although both of these defenses are solid, the first time these teams played, 57 total points were scored. I like both passing games in this matchup but do not love the run games. I love Stafford and Kupp for the Rams and Murray and Hopkins for the Cardinals. I would stay away from Darnell Henderson Jr. if possible. James Conner is worth a start though based on touchdown potential alone. All in all, I think this will be another fun game with points scored.
