It sure is nice when they come easily. We cashed the over in the Yankees game with no problem. Tonight brings us back to the hardwood for game four of the finals. What’s surprising me, and I haven’t seen it at least, is that no one is describing what the Celtics did as a blowout. It’s all you heard after game two and, last I checked, winning by 16 in the NBA was a blow out and surely in the finals.

I’ve said it before and I’ll keep saying it: the longer this series goes, the more it favors Boston. They are matching and, in some cases, exceeding the Warriors on every level. This team does not give up. They blew a huge lead in game three, and they came back and built another one. To me, you’re seeing two teams that want it, but look deeper into the Celtics. Expect the Celtics to continue to drive to the basket as they were able to destroy the Warriors by getting to the rim and beating them horribly on the glass.

Now don’t get me wrong, these guys are competitors and they want to win too, but their desire does not go beyond the Celtics. The road struggles continue for the Warriors, who are now 4-6 in road games in the postseason. If you are the one seed, you can win all your home games and win every series if you are the one seed because you get that extra home game, which they have again in this series. What they haven’t had is the pressure of being one loss away from their season ending. The Warriors were 9-0 at home before game one of this series. Now it’s not as easy. You have to win on the road.

Warriors vs Celtics Pick: Celtics at -3.5
I’ve seen more videos of Warriors players talking about the Boston fans than the egg they laid in game three. They look like a team that’s there and they have one mode like this is what they have done before in this spot. This has been what’s won them championships and this is it. If it doesn’t work, then oh well.
