Well, after a rollercoaster of a game, the Giants simply could not hang on and go down. We’re switching back to the hardwood as tonight is game one of the NBA Finals. Will Tatum and the Celtics cap off their heroic run through the playoffs, or will the Warriors raise yet another banner? Let’s break it down and find out.

A lot has been said this week that the Warriors were not really tested in their series leading up to the finals. First facing an injured Nuggets team, well, the back-to-back MVP of the league is on that team, so that’s got to count for something. Then they criticized that they played a hurt Grizzlies team. You mean the 21-6 team without Morant Grizzlies? Those guys? Then the Mavericks, who they said just shouldn’t have been there in the first place, beat the number one team two games in a row to close out the series. They deserved to be there. When did we start making excuses to oppose one of the greatest sports runs in history? We could be talking about eight of the last eight if it weren’t for injury.

We have all heard the phrase “locked in” in sports. That is what this Celtics team is right now. To sweep the team everyone had to win it all and be a dog going into that series. To then knock off the defending champions, and then take down the number one seed on the road, yeah, I would say they are locked in. Boston is 7-2 in road games this postseason. What it will come down to is whether their top-ranked defense can slow down this Warriors offense. How healthy are some of their key players, and can they effectively compete with the Warriors’ shooters?

Warriors vs Celtics Pick: Warriors -3.
For this game, the Warriors have the advantage. The Celtics have to go cross country to start a new series after game seven. The Warriors are undoubtedly healthier right now. We all know they were anticipating playing Boston, so look for them to be a little more prepared. Boston has taken at least game one to get up to speed on how a team plays. The Bucks game one beat the Celtics by 12 in seven games, and then Miami game one they lost by 11. That series went seven games, and now here we are at game one in the Bay…. Warriors -3.

Same Game Parlay:
Warriors -4, Curry First Basket, Klay Thompson to score 25+ Pts and Draymond Green to record 10+ Assists.
