After guaranteeing a bounce back in Week 8 with these picks, Sunday’s edition of ‘Best Bets’ went a perfect 3-0 on the slate. In hopes of keeping this momentum going, here is what’s on tap for Monday Night Football. For this cross-conference matchup, Pat Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs hope to bounce back against Daniel Jones and the New York Giants. The Giants come into this one off of a blowout 25-3 win over the Panthers, whereas Kansas City suffered a humiliating 27-3 loss versus the Titans. The back-to-back reigning AFC champions have now lost two of their last three and must get back on track in this match to stay in the playoff hunt. Nevertheless, here is what I’m going with for this primetime battle.

Draft Kings nfl pROMOTION

Chiefs (-10.5)
The line for this game opened with the Chiefs as 10.5-point home favorites and that is the current listed spread. This season against the terrible NFC East, Kansas City is already 2-0 ATS where they outscored their opponents 73-43. In addition, the Giants do not perform well under the spotlight and are 0-8 SU in their last 8 primetime games. Although they have had impressive victories over the Saints and Panthers, there are a lot of things that have to go right for the Giants to earn a W. With injuries to Saquon Barkley and rookie wide receiver Kadarius Toney, New York’s offense is not equipped to keep pace with a now revitalized Chiefs offense. The only chance they stand lies with their defense, but with a hungry Chiefs offense at home, it should be a long night for them. Additionally, Kansas City is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 following a straight up loss and 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 Monday night contests. Therefore, I like them in this spot and will be taking them to cover this large margin at home.

Darrel Williams Any Time TD (-125)
With the normal starting running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire still out for Kansas City, Darrel Williams serves as a primary touchdown threat for their offense. Although no one on the Chiefs offense was able to produce last week in their three-point performance, Williams has nearly 200 yards from scrimmage, two touchdowns, and 9 receptions in two starts. Even when Edwards was the starter, Williams was still able to find the end zone on two separate occasions. With two starting linebackers out with injury for New York, this puts him in a great spot to run in a score. In their seven regular season games so far, the Giants have allowed at least 4 yards per carry to each running back they’ve played. They’re not an especially stout unit, so expect Williams to have success, whether it be on the ground or through the air. Take Darrel to score in what should be a total rout of the New York defense.

Daniel Jones Over 243.5 Passing Yards
Following an efficient performance against a formidable defense, New York QB Daniel Jones is primed to have a day versus this shoddy Chiefs pass defense. In six full starts this year, “Danny Dimes” has gone over this yardage total in five out of six games. He has looked sharp against much better defenses than Kansas City’s and has a 400-yard game on the season. If he can put up numbers like that versus the best defenses in the league, he can surely put up big numbers vs this horrific unit. In particular, the Chiefs are the 31st ranked defense against the pass, letting up an average of 270 yards passing and nearly three touchdowns through the air. This puts Jones at a great mismatch, especially with the Chiefs coming into this one a little banged up. Take Daniel Jones’s passing prop and expect him to be dropping dimes all night.

Same Game Parlay
Daniel Jones Over 243.5 Passing Yards, Daniel Jones Over 21.5 Rushing Yards, Patrick Mahomes Over 21.5 Rushing Yards, Evan Engram Over 30.5 Receiving Yards, Darrel Williams Over 16.5 Rec Yards, Travis Kelce Over 78.5 Rec Yards, Darrell Williams Anytime TD Scorer, Evan Engram Anytime TD Scorer and Chiefs to win by 1-13 Pts.
