Following a perfect 3-0 performance in yesterday’s NBA best bets, this contest is a great opportunity to stay hot. In this Western Conference matchup, Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors host Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks. Last game out, Golden State was able to easily take care of the Portland Trail Blazers, 132-95, and the Mavericks were narrowly defeated by the Utah Jazz. Both of these teams are led by their own superstar and that’s why they’re near the top of their conference. However, during the midseason grind, players and teams alike can lose their rhythm due to the harsh schedule of an 82-game season. With this in mind, here are the best bets and player props for this NBA Thursday contest.

Warriors (-3)
The opening line for this match originally favored the Warriors by six and a half-points but they are now just three point home favorites. While Golden State is a shoddy 1-5 ATS in their last six games, the Mavs are an impressive 7-1 ATS in their past eight matches. Although the Warriors have had problems covering in the past month, they are in a great spot at home with this slim margin. With the Mavs going through some midseason struggles due to injury, without some key pieces, the Warriors could be more than Dallas could handle right now. Golden State comes into this one 2nd in the West with a 43-17 record, whereas the Mavs are 5th with a 35-25 record. They will have to overcome the Splash Brothers now that Klay Thompson is slowly coming back into regular form. Nonetheless, they will still have to find a way to defeat one of the best home teams in the league. While the Warriors have been in a bit of a rough patch, both of these squads are among the best in their conference, and I like the Warriors in this spot to bounce back. Take Steph and Golden State minus the points vs a hobbled Mavs team.

Luka Doncic Over 29.5 Points
Following a 23-point performance in his last outing vs Utah, Luka Doncic has shown he is as steady as they come in this league of uncertainty. Luka is averaging 27 points and 9 assists and has again been showing the league why he’s one of the best. Doncic has been shouldering the load in each appearance, where last week he already made his third All-Star appearance. With injuries to key players like Tim Hardaway Jr, Luka has been able to produce the lion’s share of points and has picked up where he left off before the break. However, the Warriors are one of the best defenses and have allowed the 3rd lowest points per game in the NBA, so he’ll have to push the pace in this one to get his daily dose of baskets. This prop has amazing value given his ridiculous numbers in the last month. While he has a low of 15 points this season, I’m going to ride the hot hand and take him to once again produce at an efficient rate. Take Luka to score more than his total points prop with ease.

Stephen Curry Over 6.5 Assists
After dropping 14 dimes in their win against the Blazers, Steph Curry has been as efficient a distributor as they come in the last month. Curry is averaging nearly 7 assists per game and has become a maestro in turning a good shot into a great shot. Steph has been the primary point man all season and that has allowed him to have plenty of assist opportunities. When the Warriors met the Mavs just a few weeks ago, Curry was able to easily dish out 7 assists. This prop has amazing value given his ridiculous numbers last time out. While he has a low of 4 assists all year, I’m going to ride with the passing hand of Curry and take him to once again produce at an efficient rate. Take him to have more than his total assists prop.

Same Game Parlay
Warriors -3, Doncic Over 29.5 Pts, Curry Over 6.5 Assists, Wiggins Over 1.5 Made Threes and Under 215.5 Pts.
