HOW TO WATCH NFL WEEK 3

Week Two had a few significant developments unfold. The Packers returned to form, pummeling an overmatched Lions team to redeem themselves after a lackluster Week 1 performance and Aaron Rodgers again having to remind cheese-heads everywhere to ‘relax’. The Ravens finally (barely) defeated Kansas City, preventing them from dropping to 0-2 on the young season. More importantly, the win removed a particularly heavy monkey from the back of superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson, who had been 0-3 vs. the Chiefs. Lastly, Seattle lost in overtime at home to Tennessee, making them the only NFC West team not going into Week 3 with an undefeated record.

Over/Unders split evenly in Week Two, with eight games going over and eight going under. Favorites covered the spread in 7 of sixteen games, with five underdogs winning outright.

Week Three has a few fascinating games on the slate. Perhaps the most interesting happens on Sunday night, when the Packers invade San Francisco’s Levi’s Stadium as a 3.5 point underdog (BetMGM) to face a 49ers team that won its first two games on the road but didn’t look particularly impressive doing so. Green Bay will be coming off short rest, having played Monday night and will be traveling across three time zones, so it will be interesting to see how both teams respond. The other huge game happens late Sunday afternoon as two undefeated NFC powerhouses meet, with the Rams hosting Tampa Bay. L.A.’s staunch defense will be trying to slow down a Buccaneers team that has won nine straight, scoring at least 30 points (playoffs included) in each of those games to set an NFL record streak. Tampa comes into L.A. as a slim favorite (-1.5 on DraftKings), despite being on the road against a 2-0 team that has looked very good under new quarterback Matthew Stafford.
