Now that we’ve all loosened our belts after eating too much, gotten the Thursday games over with and have forced everyone to suffer through yet another Lions Thanksgiving Day loss, there are still a surprisingly high number of games worth watching and gambling on happening this Sunday.

So far this week, we saw Detroit manage to lose again, this time to a Bears team that hadn’t won in quite a while, either. Fun fact: Until Thursday, the Chicago White Sox had actually won a game more recently than the Bears. That’s how bad it’s been playing in the NFC’s “Norris” Division. Elsewhere, we saw the Raiders save their season with a heroic performance from David Carr, who managed to out-duel Dak Prescott in Arlington and the Buffalo Bills find their groove again, absolutely pummeling New Orleans in the Superdome, handing the Saints their fourth consecutive loss.

Despite two serious playoff teams having byes this week (Kansas City and Arizona) and three games already completed, Sunday’s slate of games still has the potential to present some interesting games. Plenty of teams with playoff aspirations are meeting one another with their seasons on the line and several classic division showdowns happening as well. The Steelers will travel to Cincinnati and for the first time in a while, the 6-4 Bengals appear poised to make this game much more than just a steppingstone on Pittsburgh’s trail to the postseason. Two NFC division leaders, the Packers and Rams, meet at Lambeau Field, as will two AFC division leaders when Tennessee travels to New England. Cleveland and Baltimore are both fighting for a playoff spot in their division and will meet in the Sunday night game and there is a very interesting inter-conference game at 1 p.m. on Sunday between Tampa Bay and Indianapolis.
