Look, I’m not even going to touch the Boston series. I mean, at this point, flip a coin and go with that. We are heading back to the hardwood for the Warriors and Grizzlies matchup. Memphis has handled themselves in every game but one in this series. Golden State would love to close this thing out, but can they get the job done against this Grizzlies team that has sky high confidence?

“Off” is the best way I can describe this team over the past few games. A close game that they were lucky to win and then an absolute beat down. It’s almost like they don’t take this Memphis team too seriously and they are looking ahead maybe just a little too much. They could be just a little too rusty when the pressure is on. And with Draymond missing a lot of time this season, Jordan Poole is finding his spot in the rotation, and throw Klay in, who has been out for two years, into that mix and you are bound to have some off nights. It almost feels like they have been playing from behind almost the whole series and they barely got the job done right at the end.

People seem to forget how good this team was without Morant this season. Some could argue they played better defensively. Sure, he took over on the offensive side of the ball when the team needed it, but this team has seen this before and knows how to get the job done in his absence. Both sides have been blown out, and both sides have won close ones. This is going to come down to who wants it more.

Memphis vs Golden State Pick: Memphis +9.
Honestly, I can’t tell you who is going to win this game. I do think Memphis covers this one pretty easily. I do think the Warriors are overlooking them just a bit without Morant, and this will be close down the stretch. Take Memphis +9.
