We were delayed, and we came back and got the win over the Mariners. Today’s selection might be more vanilla than we are used to. Everyone always likes picking the best teams because you always feel like you have that implied chance of winning and even if they are losing the comeback never really feels that far away. The Dodgers wrap up their series with the Cardinals. With the series tied at a game apiece, who will be walking away the winner of the series? Let’s break it down and find out.

The Red Birds are hovering right around the.500 mark in their last 10 games, and that record has got them two games behind the Brewers. They have been able to hit Dodger pitching very well in this series, but they are going to be up against one of the toughest outings of the series. The young lefty has really only had one bad start this season when he allowed seven runs to Philadelphia. Thompson has done an excellent job of not allowing many base runners, as he does not allow many hits or walks, has slightly above-average strikeout numbers, and allows few home runs. It is going to be tough for Donald to generate runs as long as he is on the mound.

The team is just too good and you always go into their games with a bit of confidence. Although they have been winning a lot, as they are 8-2 in their last 10, all 10 games have been decided by one or two runs. Hudson is going for the Cardinals and he did have a solid start last time out against the Phillies, but had been shaky before that. Before that start he had given up three or more runs in four of his previous five. Hudson has average strikeout numbers and has been able to keep the ball in the park, but his downfall has been the walks. He has had multiple games where he has allowed three or more walks. That will doom you against a lineup like this.

Dodgers vs Cardinals Pick: Dodgers Money Line
Sometimes, if the price is right, you have to go vanilla. I think you might see another close game, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Dodgers close this series out and win by two or more runs.

Same Game Parlay:
Dodgers ML, Max Muncy to hit a HR, Tyler Anderson Over 3.5 Strikeouts, Trea Turner to record 2+ hits, Will Smith to record an RBI and Mookie Betts to record a run.
