Degens Only: Wednesday Plays, June 30

Well, we have a ball game folks, or should I say, we have a series. The Eastern Conference Finals was tied up last night and Trae young didn’t even play.  This was due to poor play from the Bucks, but the obvious bigger story was Giannis going down and having to be helped off the court. We don’t know the stats us of Young or Giannis for game five, but it’s safe to say that this series just turned into anyone’s ball game. The Atlanta Hawks in the NBA finals? I bet you didn’t have that one written down at the beginning of the season. While we’re unsure of their status, the status for today is another four top plays.

Suns in 6: Suns ML
The Suns have only lost one set of back to back games in these playoffs thus far and I don’t think that starts now. Paul George dropped 41 to keep the Clippers alive last game and now they are one win away from tying up the series. This Suns team plays really well together not one player is above the other.  The Clippers are going to need another monster game from George to pull this series even, and with the other adjustments the Suns will make, the Clippers won’t be able to get the job done here. Que the Kawhi rumors and take the Suns ML

Ohanti time: Yankees F5 Team Total under 2.5
It’s like Christmas every week watching this guy pitch and hit. Vlad Guerrero Jr is having a great season, but it’s really hard not to see Ohtani winning the MVP. Leading the league in home runs while being an ace pitcher is something Vlad can’t match. Today, Ohtani gets the Yankees. Probably one of his toughest outings yet, but we have faith in the future MVP. You know the drill at this point, it’s Ohtani time.  Take the Yankees F5 team total under 2.5.

Lift off: Astros team total over 5.5
This number is right about where the Astros average at home. Today though, the Orioles are sending Harvey back to the mound. He has been a punching bag for the last two months. Teams have hit Harvey for .300+ in every start he has made in June. After last night’s embarrassing loss, the Astros are ready for some payback. This Orioles team is not good in any phase of the game, so we can chalk last night up to a fluke and with Harvey on the mound.  Get ready for the runs to come in for the Astros. Take the Astros team total over 5.5.

Chief Tiger: Indians team total over 5
Remember when Jose Urena was feared and considered one of the best pitchers in the league? Not these days, playing with the Tigers and looking like he’s just happy to be on a major league team. He might not be for much longer if he keeps putting up numbers like he is this season. Urena comes in at 2-8 with a 6+ ERA. He has been demolished all of June, only pitching a combined total of 13 innings in his four starts this month he has allowed 24 runs. There is no relief in sight for the Tigers as their bullpen will do them no favors in this one. Look for Cleveland to take advantage of a struggling Urena and a poor Tigers pen. Take Cleveland team total over 5.
