I don’t think we have had a game that easy in a long time. The Warriors’ basically wire-to-wire victory easily covers the 5.5. We called it spot on that the Mavs would have trouble defending the different style the Warriors presented. Now it’s time to see if they make the adjustments. Speaking of adjustments, will the Celtics make the adjustments to stop the Heat from going up 2-0?

You know things are not going well when the head coach is visibly upset with his players. The team was definitely thrown off with no Smart or Horford. Smart has already been ruled probable for game two, but I don’t think we will see Horford just yet. Which is why not having Big Al is still a big blow. He’s a veteran guy who was knocking down big shots for them and playing some solid defense. The Celtics do not want to go down 2-0 here because they know Miami will be looking to just take one on the road because they know they have game five at home where they are 7-0 in this year’s playoffs to close this series out. It’s not a 100% must-win for the Celtics, but it’s close.

It’s never fun having to play against the defensive player of the year. It took Miami a couple of games, but we have seen they are able to make adjustments. Take whoever Smart is guarding and take what they did in game one and throw it out the window because it won’t be the same in game two. So with this, the other guys on the Heat are going to have to step it up. Their defense needs to have the same intensity that they played with in the second half of game one. If they play like they did in the first half, then the roles will be reversed and they might just get blown out in their first loss at home.

Heat vs Celtics pick: Heat ML
I’m more of a prove it to me type of guy. I’ve seen what Miami can bring and the adjustments they made and how badly they wanted this. Show me your backbone here if you’re the Celtics. Boston, as we have seen, is a very emotional team. Until I see that the Celtics can handle what Miami is able to do and adjust, I’m riding with the Heat.
