Bucks Hawks Player Props, Game 2, June 25

I write to you from a pool of my own tears as the Suns not only broke my heart last night but also my wallet. The Devin Booker mask game is not what I expected it to be and for that I am distraught. I am hoping that Game 4 gives us some better shooting but here I am rambling because I’m using this blog as my therapy notebook after that loss.

But we have a brighter future ahead with the Bucks and the Hawks going at it in Game 2. Trae Young and John Collins are freaking electric right now and I am personally shocked that they even had the nuts to keep the Bucks down in Game 1 but they might just be the Cinderella team. The line is yet again Bucks -8 which seems so disrespectful. I have some props for you that’ll make you a winner.

Bogdan Bogdanovic UNDER 11.5 points
While he is a key member of this Hawks team, Bogdanovic isn’t scoring in these playoffs. He averaged just over 15 in the regular season but has turned that down this summer and so far in the last three series, his scoring high has been 22. That was an outlier as in the last four, he hasn’t scored more than seven points. It isn’t even that he isn’t getting shots up, he just isn’t hitting them. He has proven to be one of the more inconsistent shooters in the playoffs so far.

Trae Young OVER 30 points
So while I am fading Bogdanovic on the points, I am all in on the Trae Young point train. Here is the thing, you just can’t bet an under on this guy right now because if he goes over you just look like an idiot and if he goes under, you can just chalk it up to a crazy game that doesn’t make sense. He has gone  over 30 points in 3 of the last 4 games. In the one game he didn’t, he scored 21 on just 5-23 shooting  which is just uncharacteristic of the guy. He is shooting and passing at a crazy clip and all the offense runs through this guy. He is proving that when he gets hot, he can’t be stopped and I don’t want to be betting against that.

Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 33.5 points
For the same reason I wouldn’t bet the under on the Trae Young points, I also think I would be crazy to do it with Giannis. I mean, the dude has balled out in the playoffs and he still scored 34 points in the loss two nights ago. He has scored more than 33 points in four of his last five appearances. Since the comeback in the Brooklyn series, Giannis has been going off and the Hawks really don’t have an answer when it comes to guarding him. He shot 14-25 in the last game and only put up two three’s. If the Bucks start rolling in this game, it’s going to be because of Giannis.
