I know last time the masked man made us look bad and he did it again in game four, but it’s not going to happen in the Heat’s house. I don’t think Butler let’s Philly get a third win in a row. After these last two games, you have to believe that Miami has seen it all and that Spoelstra is a good enough coach that he can make the adjustments and take back control of this series.

Obviously, Embiid has made a major impact on this series. Harden can now operate without being the main focus of the Heat defense, which improves him, and Embiid’s presence down low frees up more open looks for three of the role players. Miami has life in this series. Game four, their game plan was trashed because they couldn’t hit a three to save their lives and would not adjust. Shooting 16% from three but continuing to shoot bricks let the Sixers’ lead pile up and that was all she wrote after that. You have to account for the fact that the Heat will have a better shooting night than Philly, who lit up the three in game four.

Philadelphia had the second best road record in the league this season. A far cry from the team we remember that couldn’t win away from home just a year ago. Tonight will be a true test for them. Embiid is obviously not all there, but he is more than enough to be a problem and change the game. The thing is, had he been playing from the beginning, I think this series is tied at two. We have seen this Sixers team be soft a lot this year, and right now they have things rolling, but they are up against the one team that can adjust and get it figured out. Embiid is going to need to show why he should have won MVP if the Sixers are going to take Game Five.

76ers vs Heat Pick: Heat -3
Look, this team flat out doesn’t get pushed around often, and for sure not in their own house. This game is almost like a series clinched for who is going to win it. If Miami can figure out how to defend better, it’s a wrap for Philly. If Philly can stick to this game plan and continue to make it work, it could be all she wrote for Miami heading into game six in Philly, but my money is on the Heat to handle business tonight.
